# No-code setups

You don't need a developer to use MapIron. Pick what you want to do:

## Put a map on your website

- [**Embed map builder**](https://mapiron.com/tools/embed-map): type an address, copy the code, paste it into Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify, WordPress or Google Sites. A pin, or an approximate area for listings.
- [**WordPress with WP Go Maps**](https://mapiron.com/docs/wp-go-maps): use MapIron tiles for every map on a WordPress site, with four settings.

## Add coordinates to a spreadsheet

- [**Google Sheets**](https://mapiron.com/docs/google-sheets): Formulas like `=MAPIRON_GEOCODE(A2)`, a one-click batch for a whole column, and map images in the sheet.
- [**Batch geocoder**](https://mapiron.com/tools/batch-geocoder): upload a CSV from Excel, Numbers or any spreadsheet and download it with latitude and longitude on every row.

## Fill in coordinates and maps automatically

Connect MapIron to the apps you already use: when a form is submitted, a lead comes in or a listing is added, look up its address and attach a map.

- **Zapier** (early access): Geocode an address, find the address at a point, and attach a map or privacy-area image in any Zap. [Ask for the invite link](mailto:hello@mapiron.com?subject=Zapier%20early%20access).
- **Make** (early access): Geocode, reverse geocode, search and map-image modules for Make scenarios. [Ask for the invite link](mailto:hello@mapiron.com?subject=Make%20early%20access).
- **n8n** (early access): A MapIron node for n8n workflows and AI agents, on n8n Cloud or self-hosted. [Ask for the invite link](mailto:hello@mapiron.com?subject=n8n%20early%20access).

## Ask an AI assistant

Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients can geocode and draw maps through the [MapIron MCP server](https://mapiron.com/docs/mcp).

## Which key to use

| Where | Key |
| --- | --- |
| Map code on your website | A key limited to your website's address. Visitors can see it; other sites can't use it. |
| Zapier, Make, n8n, Google Sheets, the batch geocoder | A key with **no** website limit. These tools call MapIron from their own servers, so a website-limited key is refused. Keep it private. |

Make keys in the [dashboard](https://mapiron.com/dashboard). Free has 1 key; paid plans have 20, so you can keep one per tool and revoke one without touching the others.

## What happens at your plan's cap

Every plan has a hard monthly cap and **no overage bills, ever**. When a cap is reached, website maps pause, Zaps and scenarios stop with a message that links to your upgrade options, and spreadsheet runs stop and keep what's done. Caps reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). You get an email at 80% and 100%, and paid plans can add a $20 top-up pack for the rest of the month.

## Keep what you look up

Coordinates written into a spreadsheet, CRM or database are stored results. On paid plans you may keep them indefinitely; on Free, for 30 days. Many other geocoding services don't allow storing results at all: see [who lets you store geocoding results](https://mapiron.com/learn/can-you-store-geocoding-results).

## Want us to set it up?

Write to [hello@mapiron.com](mailto:hello@mapiron.com?subject=No-code%20setup) with what you're trying to do and which tools you use. We'll reply with the exact steps, or a ready-made Zap, scenario or sheet.
